Allah sent down the Qurβan and the Hikmah β which is the Sunnah β as complete sources of guidance. The scholars of Hadith established principles to verify and classify narrations, compiling these guidelines under the discipline of Mustalah Al-Hadith. This science enables Muslims to determine which Hadith are accepted and which are rejected. In this course, students will study a concise text by Shaykh Uthaymeen that explains the principles of Hadith authentication.
