Mustalah Hadith - Science of Hadith

Allah sent down the Qur’an and the Hikmah – which is the Sunnah – as complete sources of guidance. The scholars of Hadith established principles to verify and classify narrations, compiling these guidelines under the discipline of Mustalah Al-Hadith. This science enables Muslims to determine which Hadith are accepted and which are rejected. In this course, students will study a concise text by Shaykh Uthaymeen that explains the principles of Hadith authentication.

Instructor: AbdulWahid Stephenson has over 15 years teaching experience and has studied Islamic Jurisprudence at the prestigious Islamic University of Madinah, Saudi Arabia. He is the founder of Madinah College and Insight into Islam. He is also a Khateeb and has delivered talks at several universities and Islamic centres.
